We arrived at Cyprus to live in December 2006.. A few months after our arrival I had a heart attack. I was taken to the General and eventually moved to Nicosia where I had a stent put in a heart Artery ..
Since then I have always had check ups at the General, and seen various consultants over the years..
In recent years though I have seen many different consultants at the General as they have come and gone..
However since Gesy started all I have had are Heart Echo scans and a stress test.
No blood tests (for cholesterol) No BP measurement taken..

So I am wondering should I be looking to go and see a different Gesy consultant, who will hopefully be a little more thorough.. I do have a leaking heart valve ..

In 2017 because of a 'scare' I went to St Andrews Cardiology Centre and had many tests, and came away with lots of info..

But are there any particular heart consultants / centres, that members can personally recommend..?
Including comments on St Andrews..

I would also recommend Dr. Evro and his wife Nikoletta.

yes correct that is the name of their clinic.

Fully endorse the recommendations for Dr Evros and Dr Nikoletta. First came across them in 2004 and over the years have seen a few others but they are always my first choice and so delighted they are on GESY. Extremely thorough, kind and compassionate.

I'm with Dr Mavrommatis and highly recommend him. He sees Gesy patients.
