Paphos Life

After more than 3 month corona lockdown, I was the very first customer today lunchtime, when they just opened the tavern. As I was very early (before 12 AM) I had time to look a bit around which changes happened in all these month.

First what I realised, it was ever so spotless clean indoors and out.

So I walked in, with the mask of course, to choose the freshest fish of the day, which was this sorgus, just arrived 10 minutes earlier.


plenty more fish for the weekend and isn't everything clean...


while waiting until served some looks around, tables are now in a different way

and a little walk over, to the sea front


towards Aphrodite Rock


in the meantime my salad, bread, tahini... arrived


and ten minutes later fish and chips


cooked to perfection


finally: even the windows are so clean...


and even the parking area

Thanks Max. I am a bit jealous but it brightened up my day. I have forgotten the last time I could go out for a meal in the UK

Only when the temperature goes up I am having a KEO to quench my thirst as I am not really a beer drinker...

Haven't been therefor several years, so am most impressed by the changes which have taken place there.It looks very smart now and as you said Max, spotlessly clean.
Will definitely plan to go there as I remember that their fish is very good and expertly cooked!
