Breathalyser

A car I was a passenger in, was waved down to stop by a policeman outside the Damon Apartments. The policeman put a breathalyser in the window and asked the driver to blow. All was fine as he hadn't been drinking and we were waved on.
What I am wondering is, do the police change the mouthpiece between drivers? I know in the UK they are disposable and changed every time, however I didn't notice the policeman changing the wee tube, so it could have been used by multiple drivers, in which case - yuk!
It happened so quickly, there wasn't really time to think and I don't know what the reaction would be if you questioned the cleanliness of the tube and asked for a new one.

When I've been breathalysed, the fuzz always gave me the mouthpiece after the event.
