The International Space Station will be visible today to the naked eye (if clouds allow) everywhere in Cyprus at 6:07 pm
Set your allarm and take a photo!

"If clouds allow" is a bit of a key issue at the moment.

It is a dot moving across the sky.
I've always been puzzled why people are so fascinated by satellites. It only just occurred to me why I am not. My father built and launched the first UK commercial satellite. Consequently, he was pointing them out in the sky to me for much of my childhood. So to me, the site of a little dot travelling far above is fairly mundane.

Will a vague shape be visible or will it just be like a star ?
Yes, with naked eyes it looks like another star, but it moves rapidly across the sky. If I remember well the international space station circle the Earth 16 times in 24 hours, it will be visible for 4 minutes approx tonigh (usually only visible for a minute or two) so I would put an allarm!
At the moment is predicted to be visible through the Cyprus sky from 18:05

It was fantastic a few years ago when it went over on Christmas Eve. We told my young nephew and niece that it was Santa on his sleigh, (travelling to give presents to children on a different time zone before coming back to us). They were so excited!!
I had the app on my phone so knew exactly what time, where to look etc, and it was a nice clear night and we could watch it pass over for a couple of minutes.
