Would Trump be justified to nuke N.Korea?

Latest reports from North Korea are they fear recent actions by President Donald Trump (moving aircraft carrier etc near to
the Korean peninsular) risks a nuclear war there.
N.Korea had already threatened to missile Japan with sarin gas.
Would Trump be justified in nuking N.Korea?
I think so, they are a menace and threat to world peace.
Geoff.

Geoff, to answer your question - NO.
I'm not saying there would never be a need for a military option, but that is far removed from starting a nuclear war. A nuclear attack would kill hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, including women and children, and could easily precipitate retaliatory attacks by China, and even Russia as they also share a land border with N Korea. Think about it, they would be obliged to retaliate as to do otherwise would end the myth about mutually assured destruction.
I know you like lighting the blue touchpaper, but you seem to forget to retire immediately.

One thing is for sure, Trump means business!
I am very pleased he is on our side.

I wonder if you will always feel that.... I think he will soon go much further than most of us would be comfortable with.
Your opinion, though, seems to be a great fit to join his team....
One (and some hangers on) nutcase in North Korea condemns an entire race to destruction? Good God Almighty.... May the Love and Peace of Easter be with you....

He might be today, but who knows where he'll be tomorrow. Look back at his first few months in office and you'll see that the man changes his mind almost on a daily basis.
It is of course designed to be so - his unpredictability is deliberate. Enemies become friends, and vice versa. I would not trust him as far as I could throw him - which clearly isn't very far.

Is that a rethorical question? Would you even ask it if you were a civilian already subjected to living under the North Korean tyranny?

Probably yes, in the hope that the Americans would liberate me from that tyranny.
But I would be arrested and shot for asking it if I was a N.Korean living there.
I hope that the Americans might assassinate the leader-ship before nukes come into play.
It will be interesting to see how Trump plays it and how it develops - the outcome will affect us all even living in Sunny Cyprus.

Reply to WHL:
Possibly, but that might be better than starving to death.
Not all N.Koreans would be killed if there was a nuclear attack on their country, for a start the US would probably use a small battlefield
device targeted on the regime leaders.
However some innocents would perish, like in any war e.g. Syria, Iraq, Libya, etc

Geoff may I respectfully suggest you go and have a lie down, because clearly you haven't got a scubbydo on how Nuclear weapons/Wars work.

Alternatively, you may look forward to dying from cancer and your grandchildren being born with birth defects. For illustration of what I mean google for Hiroshima or Nagasaki.

In answer to the original question: NO.
Trump is a fruit loop, trying to make as much noise as possible to throw everybody off the scent of his own wrongdoings.
