I was tested this morning at Lidl. I have heard nothing so assume I was negative

Yes, rather bizarrely.

Actually, thinking about it, it does make sense. You can then test people who don't have access to transport etc.

The Lidl I was tested at was the Polis Road one. They just had a small stand, table and chars on the second car park behind the Trolleys

I had a test at Lidl about 3.30 this afternoon and just a negative result via text, if I could have been bothered to wait 30 minutes I would have got a written result, quite a few people waiting around for this, presumably to travel outside Paphos for work or whatever.

They are no good for travel purposes.

The rumour mill suggests that Paphos will get a bit of a respite owing to the low results that the antigen tests have shown up compared to the rest of the island. We shall have to wait until later today to find out for sure though.

Saturday the train moves to Geroslipou:

The rapid coronavirus test (rapid test) in Geroskipou starts on Saturday.

According to an announcement by the Municipality of Geroskipou, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the company Mediwell and the Municipality, will offer a completely free rapid coronavirus test for the residents of Geroskipou.

On Saturday 28/11, there will be a sampling workshop in Geroskipou Square from 09.00 to 16:00.

The Municipality of Geroskipou invites the citizens to dedicate 5 minutes of their time and to take the test. Together we can and will manage to stop the transmission of the virus, completely free of charge, without terms and conditions, concludes D. Geroskipou in his announcement.

Points for sampling units for population control with rapid tests
In the context of the strategy of the Ministry of Health for conducting inspections both in the general population, but also targeted in specific areas and Services, a program of control of the general population with the method of rapid antigen detection is in progress. At the same time, the control continues with rapid antigen tests in nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and other closed structures in the Provinces of Limassol, Paphos and Larnaca, while sampling is carried out by mobile units in the Police and other Services / Departments of the public sector. In addition to the above, control is performed in the hospitals of OKYPY and in private hospitals.
The sampling units for the control of the general population will be located tomorrow, December 1, 2020, at the following points:
Limassol
Grigoris Afxentiou Square - Governor's Office
8.30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul and St. Artemios, Kapsalos
8.30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Larnaca
Sklavenitis supermarket parking lot (Sp. Kyprianou Avenue)
8.30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Supermarket parking METRO
8.30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Nicosia
Church of Agios Dimitrios, Acropolis
8.30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Parking lot of Prodromos Post Office, Strovolos
10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The program is addressed to all citizens and especially and with priority, those who are employed in public service areas, distributors and front line professionals.
Citizens will be informed of the result of their laboratory test by text message within 24 hours, but also in writing, if they wish, by the mobile units within 30 'of the sampling.
The Ministry of Health thanks the Local Authorities for their willingness and cooperation.
