Has anyone had the flu jab as yet, my GP says there are none available?

Yes, I had my flu jab last month. My GP told me that the flu vaccine was coming in batches. I think that I was called when the first batch arrived. I had previously asked the receptionist if they could put my name of the waiting list for this vaccine, which she did.

Other end of the island, but, our GP said they asked for 300 doses and received 50 which were all gone, fresh deliveries expected later this month.

Still haven't had mine yet despite being in the vulnerable group category, had my name down second on Dr Dora's list since September but still no word.

Polis Medical Centre had their first delivery of the vaccine on Friday (they had expected it at the beginning of the month). They telephoned us and we had the jab fifteen minutes later. Very efficient and it didn’t hurt (I absolutely hate needles).

We rang Blue Cross and asked if Dr Dora had received the latest batch of flu vaccines. Apparently they're due in two weeks...
