Paphos Life

Today we had the opportunity to walk through the OLD village of Theletra.Very interesting indeed.There is around 40/50 properties mostly in ruins with only 5 which appeared to be occupied.. Was it abandoned by the Turkish during the invasion or was it mostly destroyed by an earthquake some 40/50 years ago.Can anyone provide any information?

Nothing to do with the troubles. It was abandoned because of the threat of landslides.
