Can anyone tell me what Kpuo is in English pkease. It is on my washing machine for temperatures after 20,30,40.

One of the very first words we used a lot of when we first came to live on a permanent basis in early March 2004. It was bloody freezing every morning when we woke up so we had to go and sit on the kitchen veranda to warm up in the early sunshine.

I studied Greek for a few years and although I’m far from fluent I can get by. Now I’ve retired (just) I’ve started again and find it difficult but rewarding. My Cypriot friends are more than willing to help, encourage and correct where necessary.
