The government have clarified the new travel restrictions to help combat COVID.  For residents of Paphos and Limassol, the main rule is that you should stay in your region, unless you have a valid reason. From November 18th, if you do have a valid reason, you will also need a recent negative PCR test. For more information, read on.

To help avoid confusion, we have included maps showing where the regions of Paphos and Limassol begin and end.

Sorry, Dominic, but I believe that you may have helped the confusion about the names of where we live! (Different terms on three consecutive days!)

I believe that the correct nomenclature is District (notice the capital letter).

There are five in the ROC.

How have you survived so long in Cyprus and remained such a pedant?

I use all three terms because all three terms are in common usage here and mean the same thing. Remain as confused as you like, but it isn't really that complicated at all. Just look at the maps, with nice big labels.

As this is a clarification to an existing statement, I presume stuff not mentioned still stands, so I wouldn't worry.

Mouse, the Green line goes through part of Nicosia city. I have walked along part of it where it bisects the old town with a UN officer as a guide.
