White River Beach

If you are looking for a less crowded beach, then take a trip to the Akamas. You won't have to go far, as you will pass White River Beach before you get to the Avakas Gorge, and it can be reached by any car. What the beach lacks in facilities (there are none) it more than makes up for in natural charm...

Interesting article.Yes, we've been past here many times without ever stopping. I remember when the gate was open and seeing a few people on the beach there. I wonder who makes the cairns each year and why? Rather mysterious! Also wonder why visitors are being discouraged.

Visitors aren't being discouraged. The guy with the sunbeds didn't have a license and was forced to remove them.

Paphos International Sailing Club launch from there a couple of times a week. They have regattas in Spring and Autumn I believe.

It’s a fabulous natural beach, which luckily now is free of sunbeds

Lovely blog again. I went there quite a few times, but that was 25 to 20 years ago.
