Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci was leading the presidential race in the north on Sunday with over 30 per cent of the votes counted.Akinci had secured 32.93 per cent of the vote to nearest viral Ersin Tatar's 29.66 per cent....

On final count, Akinci came 2nd. It now goes to a run-off between Tatar & Akinci next Sunday.

The guy who came third, with over 20% of the vote, is from a pro-unification party. Therefore Akinci should pick up most of those votes and win on Sunday.
Fingers crossed, as if he looses we are facing two separate states.
