2021 budget includes 50 major infrastructure projects

A total of 50 major infrastructure projects all across Cyprus are included in the 2021 annual budget but not all will kick-start within the upcoming new year.The projects range from the construction of roads in various districts to schools, water transport provisions and repairs of existing state buildings, Philenews reports....

So, This seems to say that the Paphos to Polis new road is 'on again'.
"The 10 most costly infrastructure projects are the Paphos-Polis Chrysochous road at €86.84 million,"
And then the other 9 are mentioned...

I think, sensibly, they may have stopped calling it motorway. Most of the knee-jerk objections seemed to think some 3 lane monstrosity was going to be built.

Well I must admit that most of the Motorways here are two lanes. But I agree I don't think it will be to Motorway standard, but I hoped it would be 2 lanes in each direction at least to Stroumbi

Yes.around 18/19 years ago when we had an agent showing us property in the region he kept telling us that there was a marina being built and properties in the area will rocket in price.

,,,,patience is a virtue i suppose.
