Incredible Moonrise... only once a year

I was waiting a long time to get a full moon rise at dawn photographed, but these days I was lucky enough... and the moon was red as well :)

It is very difficult to get the camera setting right as otherwise the moon appears only as a white disc!

So here we are, every 20 seconds another shot

between not to forget, I had to change settings

Thank you Aphrodite for your encouraging post. Yes, I have a lot of patience if it comes in the end to a good result. I selected these few photos from more than 100 pics I did that nights. On the other hand I am glad that I achieve sometimes images for what you need normally a more expensive equipment than I have with my Sony bridge camera. Anyhow the hobby photography started already in 1970/71 at Kyrenia, when I met a famous photographer from Germany which stayed in the bungalow next door. He said you will need 30-50 shots from the same subject to produce something spectacular....and that in times you had to change your roll of film after 36 photos. Nowadays so much easier though.
