Dominic,

You complain when I mention the weather in central Cyprus, yet you publish forecasts from Nicosia and in the mountains. These forecasts are not always accurate, for a number of reasons including sudden variations at high altitude. In the same way, my forecasts are sometimes inaccurate but they do not have to take into account some of the errors inherent in even moderate cities like Nicosia.

Unlike many so-called forecasters, who simply copy international sources, my forecasts are calculated from scratch with a very complex algorithm that takes into account the real weather that is taking place within more than a thousand kilometres from Cyprus and at altitudes up to the tropopause, as well as what is measured by my own weather stations.

It isn't that you publish your weather reports. It is that you try and correct other people's opinions. Case in point, when the topic of summer rain in Paphos came up. You completely poo pooed the idea, yet rain it did. The Cyprus Mail didn't do any poo pooing.

Mea culpa! Instead of six Hail Marys as penitence, how about one Hail Storm?

Believe you me, if Cyprus Mail chose to log in here and poo poo your opinion I would say the same to them :)
