Hi

We are looking for recommendations for a few days away from Paphos, either in Protaras or a village location and we would prefer luxury rather than budget options. All thoughts welcome!

The Apokryfo Lofou used to be a lovely getaway break but I haven’t stayed there for a few years, we have stayed in Sterna House and Lavender suite, the food at the time was excellent

Hi
Have stayed at The Mill in Kakopetria, which is a lovely hotel in a nice village with different eateries and bars, also enjoy Ayii Anargyri Spa Hotel in Miliou which is more hotel based but very relaxing and luxurious .

If you are looking @ Protaras I can wholeheartedly recommend, having stayed in both

a) Tsokkos Beach if you want to eat in the hotel

b) Gold Star Aprtments for self catering

These are next to each other ( owned by Tsokkos Group ) in a small quiet road leading to the beach

The beach is 1 to 2 minutes down hill
Bars etc 2 to 3 minutes up the hill

How about Larnaca, lots of history, and only half an hour away from both Nicosia and Napa?

Thanks for the recommendations.

We stayed at The Library in Kalavasos. Excellent. Junior Suite for 100 euros and the Spa treatment was first class too. Came back via the OENOU YI vineyard in Omodos - also well worth a visit and impressive.
