Last week we told you how we found four orphan kittens. Well that was a start of a very busy few days for us. This is how the kittens have fared.

They were little sweeties, and are missed by everybody but the local cat whose nose was really put out of joint with their arrival. There are few sadder sights than a 16 year old neutered Tom cat spraying its scent around the garden.

2 weeks ago while putting rubbish in the green wheelie bin in the centre of Anavargos, a very feint meow was heard coming from under some heavy rubbish. On removal, a kitten of about 6 weeks was found in a bag gasping for almost it's last breath. When it's breathing had normalised it was given water on the end of a finger and it then perked up. If I didn't already have 3 growing kittens I'd have taken it myself. Time was short as I had a hospital appointment, so it was taken to the Tala cat sanctuary, where I hope it can grow and lead a happy life. I can't say the same for the despicable person who callously placed it in the bin to die a painful death.
Nice story Dominic and hope yours will find a loving home.

Mike
It just goes to show the good and evil sides of humans. I hope the little on can be adopted by good people.
