Hi everybody

Well that's it we have done it! After many years planning we are finally here and two years ahead of schedule.

So we are sitting back and relaxing after one of the most stressfull weeks of my life.

Here's to a very happy life in Cyprus and thanks to everybody for all their support and advice - we couldn't have done it without you.

1. Buying or renting a property?
2. Registering with immigration?
3. Registering for tax here?
4. Sorting out health care?
5. Sorting out a car?
6. Personal effects from UK?

Hi all

Thanks for the warm welcome.

We are living in Stroumbi. We have had property here for 3 years but 12 years in total in Cyprus. We have a car but as yet have not registered for tax or with immigration- is it after 3 months?

Our personal belongings are being shipped over with a well established firm from Paphos

One more question- what do we do about changing our driving licence?

Hi Yvette,

Just beat you by one day we arrived on Wednesday, what a start 26C and today been on my bike for a 35mile ride in shorts and short sleeve jersey.
Already feels like home, enjoy and embrace it like I am sure we will.
