Is nhs test acceptable .

My daughter is due to arrive in Cyprus from Scotland on 26 August(flights permitting).She was informed by F.C.O that nhs tests are not available for travel purposes.Is that correct ?

Ask the test centres. They are the people who will know.

Yes, NHS PCR tests are acceptable to the Cypriot health authority.
It depends on what you say to the test centre when you book an appointment..

NHS tests are free, but are only available to frontline workers OR people showing symptoms
They will NOT provide purely for travel purposes
So I guess what Dee means is if you tell the test centre you think you have symptoms then you’ll get tested for free

It clearly states that the NHS testing facility is not available for travel purposes but people have found a loophole in the test application form and have been using it.
It's wrong to be wasting the NHS time when it could be better spent elsewhere.
