I have a problem with my dog slipping on our house tiles. Reading up on the subject ,it was recommended to use a moisturiser product on their paws....Any recommendations where I can buy it locally...Plenty of products on Amazon.

Reedy have you checked your dogs claws
The only solution I found was to have runners especially as the dog gets older more so in larger breeds

In all his 14 1/2 years, our late dog never had a problem on the tiled floors.

It may be overly long claws. Check and see if the claws are splayed out to accommodate the length. This means the dog needs some length off them. Take to the vet or pet trimming salon. It also might be your residual cleaner on your tiles.I can't see how balm would make it less slippy although would give a nice massage!

We solved the problem by laying anti slip tiles in the passage leading to the utility room and kitchen. These type of tiles with a slightly roughened surface are much safer for both dogs and humans! Also much less risk of slipping even when wet.
Be careful about what you put on a dogs paws as he will probably try to lick it off.
