We went this year on Black Friday - very early morning to get a phone that I wanted which was advertised at a bargain price. We were there at opening. By the time the assistant got to serve us, she said there were no more left but I could buy it at the normal price! I asked how many were in the sale and she said ‘oh just a few’. All around me was the same story - just a few offers to get people there (and there were a lot of people) and then after queuing to be told there was nothing left in the actual sale. Many were complaining and I am glad they have been fined for such practices. I went to Stephanis and bought the phone there. My first and last ever Black Friday experience.

I bought a printer there some 5 years ago, only once when I have needed ink have they had it in, I started going to Stefanis instead, they always have it. But on the off chance yesterday I was in the Mall and thought that I will just try once again .......

Years ago now in the UK, LIDL had flat screen TV's in their brochure for 189, so I was at the door about 15 minutes after the shop opened. Where were the TV's? All sold said the sales assistant. Really, said I, how many were there? Just 2 was the reply.
