A main stream provider was closed down recently, so the providers are using other stream sources, which as not as stable.

I am sure the various suppliers effected will resolve the issue asap.

Darrow, yes we are having similar problems, and even being unable to get some channels
But I am aware of what Digby says, and we all hope that it improves in the near future :-)

Not really I had an expert with me at that time who fits these systems. and the wife of course, my dog and my next door neighbor...you are invited also if you wish. ;)

This morning at 6am it seems a lot better, streaming running OK, but of course not that many people using streaming TV at this time of the day.If you are still having these problem do contact your Internet provider.Primetel do have the same issues, of course they use Cyta Broadband service too.

Digby morning hope you are well. I do not think it is a provider of streaming TV , as both of my systems have the same problems as the rest of us seem to have, looks like a Cyta Bandwidth issue, today if this persists I will be thumping some thing or someone.. :)

Les hello, just to let you know my IPTV service provider uses Primetel and his is as bad as ours and our neighbors in Tremithousa, so maybe just local to us??

Yes your probably correct Les, but I have no idea of the Eastern side of the island as this being a Paphos based forum, just spent over an hour with a Cyta representative on the phone, telling me to pull this and that feed line out, me telling her that my Broadband was at least half of what we pay for, just wasting my time, as my near neighbours are having the same problems as we are she still insisted it was my linked modem that was the problem....any one want a couple of TVs....

If they are larger than my 32inch TV and FREE, I'll have one. :)

Fortunately late yesterday afternoon Cyta sorted the problem out, they found someone to believe in, a call from Primetel in fact, they seem to think all connection problems are due to the customers, so now back to 30mgbts and no freezing, although I wasted many hours in listening to drivel from the phone reps, it seem Cyta no longer send out service engineers, honestly do they want to lose clients?

Cyta certainly do send out service engineers, we had one recently, but Cyta's responsibility stops at their box outside your house, anything inside your house is your responsibility to sort out.

He came into my house also, and had a cold drink, but he couldn't look for or mend any faults,
he gave me a phone no.of an electrician, who came and repaired the fault,
as for setting up a modem, i dont think that comes under repairing faults.

Just checked F1 on our magbox as that is the main reason we have the TV and all OK. Have you tried it recently Trev?

Trev mine and my neighbours are back to normal thankfully, I am now getting my full Broadband I pay for, no stuttering or miss behaving, very happy again but not impressed with the way Cyta phone reps tried to sort it out, they just did not believe it could have been them, as usual, it is always your fault, regarding engineers call out I was told by these phone reps they do not call out now, and any interiour problems are yours to fix. WHL this is a fact.
