Okay I am having a moan! Bloody Jet 2 have cancelled my flight again on July 15th,6 flights cancelled now!

Ours cancelled today for the 4th time but at least we'll get our money back with jet2 unlike lot who booked with other airlines

Yes at least we get a refund,but it was only yesterday they contacted me to remind me to print off the boarding pass! more things I have to cancel or postpone now,will rebook flight again today

Whats the point of booking any flights,
until you hear an official government announcement, ????

Things are changing daily, airlines are governed by not only UK govt, but also what’s happening in the destination country...uncertainty is the new watch word

WHL,yes I am moaning,jet 2 were adamant they were flying from the 15 July so booked again ,is that a problem for you?,I have had six flights cancelled so far so any chance an airline is UK bound I have to try

Why would it be a problem for me? more fool you for booking flights, without the Government giving the airlines, permission to fly,

I recently lost a close relative, and before they died, they asked to see my wife and myself, and so I know what it means, to be desperate to get back to the UK, but there was no Point in booking flights that only exist, in the airlines account departments need to get gullible people,to give them what amounts to interest free loans, when they know perfectly well, the chance of those flights ever taking off is zero to zilch.

Sorry about your relative,I need to get back for my partner who had a massive op again for cancer,she is on the mend hopefully but seeing I only came over for a week late Febuary and still here you can see why I try anything to get back

I really feel for you and everyone who is in your position,
but the blame lies with the airlines,
they know perfectly well, theres no chance of the flights they are selling will ever get off the ground,
but they play on peoples needs, and have used this opportunity to get money coming into their Bank accounts,
especially offering ridiculously low fares, they cant lose, they know the flights wont happen,
they have your money, and when they do start to fly again, you can bet the fares will shoot up,
The only announcement that matters is when the Government gives the information that flights can resume,
every thing else is speculation,

Ryanair have flights going from Paphos over the next few days to Dublin, Bournemouth and either Luton or Stansted (I can't remember which it was).
Are they no good rather than relying on Jet2 flights?

Jet2holidays cancelled loads of UK flights yesterday and now the problems with passengers having to get tests plus UK not even making the B list until possibly 1st August (not a guaranteed date) it's likely more package holidays will be cancelled.

Thankyou both,I ve had a very trying time these past few weeks so apologies if Iam a bit shirty!,will look at Ryan air,I really need to get to Birmingham,then it's a long drive by Taxi into the wilds of Shropshire,

Lotus, do you qualify for repatriation flights?
