Wizz Air - Flights to Uk

Yes, I knew about these Wizz Air Flights. Someone I know booked and paid for a flight With this carrier about a month ago. But please note that what it says on the web site about a flight maybe cancelled at short notice, its quite true.. WizzAir did this several times with different flights, once after issuing a boarding pass.
Finally he got a away on yesterday evening's flight back to the UK.But it made it very difficult to plan what onward travel arrangements would be. when he actually arrived. The flight was due to arrive towards midnight.
I have also heard that Aegean sometimes operate flights from Larnaca to LHR as well.
But have no details.
