How does this work?

So the UK are still part of the EU for up to two years but they will no longer be a part of any decisions made by the EU?
So hypothetically if one of the EU countries gets in trouble and requires a bail out and the EU allows a monetary sum which requires a donatipn from each country, would the UK be expected to provide that donation even though they have had no say in the decision making?

Maybe time will tell, eh? Lots can happen in the next 2 years ;-)

Very good question.

Also during the 2 years - if any new EU laws come into force does the UK have to adopt them?

All the kind of questions which should have been raised in the lead up to the Referendum..... did anyone think to ask, I wonder? Because if they did, they certainly weren't publicised.

The UK will be part of the decision making process while still a member. They won't be involved in decisions relating to the EU response to Brexit, or the future of the EU beyond the exit date (whenever that will be).
