Are the CSC open in Paphos and at the Anavargos Post Office? And do you need to make appointment or can you just go there?
Needed for renewal driving license.

Post Office CSC was very busy when wife went to pick up a parcel on Friday. Plus there was nobody on the door so it was a bit of a scrum.

Oops. Sorry, I am debugging the news poster as for some reason it has decided to have a hissy fit. That should have come from my Dominic account.

Not my experience! I went to the Citizens SC on Butcher Boy Rd, last Thursday. Arrived to find the door locked though the counter staff were there. With difficulty, I found out that they aren't seeing anyone without an appointment. I had to ring the phone no posted on a notice on the entrance. The earliest appointment that I could get was for next Thursday afternoon!
I explained that my driving license would expire before then. The unsympathetic advice was 'to avoid the police if I was driving!
Maybe I will try Anavargos instead...

Thank you Jim, but as Kili said there is a note on the door that says appointments only, so a phonecall is no problem at all.

Morning not sure what that is about, the wife walked in no note on the door and picked up her new driving licence, I am talking about the PO not the office in town.
All she did was take a ticket once inside, she was in and out in ten minutes, this was last Friday at 10am, again no making appointments! or any notes on the door.

Was at Anavargos CSC this morning.
Entrance door nearest CSC is locked.
Notice on door saying appointments only at CSC.
Girl at desk also told me this also and gave a phone no to make appointment.
The number is 80002000.
Called the number and very helpful girl gave me a date and time for appointment.
Driving licence renewal can only be done at Anavargos CSC ( she said ).

Well the rules must be changing then. My appt to renew my driving license was given me by phone last Thursday, for Thurs this week, at the CSS on (the former) Butcher Boy Rd.
So the comment in the last post seem very strange to me.

Having been in both Citizens Centres more than once I suppose 'Normal Working' especially in the main one is lots of people crammed together.

I suppose they could allow a fixed number of people in at one time, much as the better organised supermarkets have done throughout the pandemic. All that is needed is social distancing queues outside, with one large pref uniformed man in charge!

Just to mention hubbi went yesterday to renew Cypriot driving licence for a 3.30pm appointment. All paperwork done outside through a window... no one allowed in. Very windy lol. About 5 waiting. This was main office.
