The airline Jet 2 have cancelled flights to UK ,they are starting to fly again from the 1st July,hopefully!

Mi impression is there appears to be a few voices of reason in the government , like the Minister of Transport and obviously the medical advisors who are after yesterdays new cases Including two bar staff Are counselling caution as we move forward and then there is the deputy Minister of Tourism who has already said he will be announcing new countries very soon and has promised he will recoup 60% of the 2019 tourist spend this year. Something he clearly can’t do without Brits and Russian tourists . The question must be does he or the cautious ministers have the President’s ear .
Certainly in my area restaurants don’t or don’t want to understand social distancing especially the directive that if a group of 4/6/8/10 persons not from the same family wish to eat then social distancing must be maintained . Few if any waiters use face masks ( too hot they say ) nor gloves ( Too sweaty when outside ) , there is no control in the loos and only some places have sanitiser . Looking at the fines that are being proposed that has to change but none of our local police forces are visible and most are family members anyway so who will impose the fine .With this sudden gallop towards tourist arriving it would seem that the official figure for tourism of 16-18% of GNP when the black economy is figured in represents a far greater and far far more important chunk . How brave is the President to resit that force and make draconian cuts in expenditure elsewhere ?
