Very poor tv reception tonight

We’re experiencing bad freezing on quite a number of channels this evening. The maximum continuous tv is around 5 seconds.
Have emailed the supplier, but no response so far.
For us, it impacts the Drama Channel 78, and channel 52, Virgin 2
Given up and gon to bed, annoyed

Later on yesterday evening the Quest channel had some problems on our system... We cannot understand why our system freezes and goes to a black screen around the same time every day.. Roughly around 12-30 to 1-15 at lunchtime

Can you contact them direct? Might be more rewarding.
My tv reception hasn't been a problem, fortunately.

Ours has been flicking off momentarily and coming straight back. When we switch on is says setting are wrong. Tried rebooting both modem and mag box, still the same. Checking i manual, signs point to provider, so maybe its Cyta?

Just because your supplier is a member of the Forum does not mean to say that He/ they look in every day.. I feel sure you must have a contact phone number for the firm..

Hi,
We have sent several emails in reply, including a reply from technical support. For some reason you are not receiving them, could you check your spam folder. We do not have a contact number for you on the system, so could not call.

Good Afternoon.
Have checked my spam folder, and there are indeed 2 emails from yourself.
Never have had any issues with your emails hitting the spam box before.
Nevertheless, my apologies for the tone of my email.
Sorry

Some problems with the various news channels (BBC and sky in particular) over the past week or two but the programme channels seem to be okay. My guess is that there is so much news the people wanted to see that it is overloading the system. The worst was during Dominic's ordeal on sky, which more or less completely packed up at times. I did send an email to our provider.

@afj
Jenny...Holitec, my supplier had a word with his tech support people, since when the reception has improved.
Still a bit of occasional freezing, but nothing like it was before.
Interesting comment about raising the box on pencils.
I’ve dug out 2 HB versions to test it out

MAGs
I also use SOS at the moment and another supplier both work as they should, I always leave them on standby that is they are both switched off no chance of over heating although all MAGs run warm to hot they do not have any cooling fans fitted unlike your PCs..

Likewise no problems with our system from Computer SOS. Still use the a Magbox 250 which is nearly 6 years old.

I have the latest Triotech box which is called ' Zoomtak'. I think that it is also a Mag Box, but I have had no problem with TV reception on the 50 channels... Triotech automatically update their boxes Wirelessly as required.
