Yesterday it was 42 in the shade in our Polemi back garden.

I have taken to going for an early morning swim so that I can do my lengths without feeling like I am in a bath.

I don't mind if it is hot in the day time (it's summer now) but what goes on my nerves is the high temperature all the night long with more than 30c yesterday. As the concrete boxes (houses) in Cyprus, with little or no insulation of heat, getting so hot over the day it is not very comfortable to sleep even with all windows open.
My bedroom temperature yesterday was 34.4 one meter above ground.....

But.... cooler days are on the horizon :)
