The new walkway is said to be now ready for use . Does anybody know where it starts or where it finishes ??.
Thanks , Lefkes.

I’m not too sure about the precise location for the Kissonerga section but the bigger plan was Geroskipou Beach to Coral Bay.

Kissonerga’s coastal pathway road is ready for use, the village’s community leader Giorgos Stylianou said on Saturday.

The two-kilometre walkway along the sea links all hotels of Kissonerga and is in line with the environment and the developments that have taken place in the area, Stylianou told the Cyprus News Agency.

I've walked and cycled along the coast path from Geroskipou Beach to the Elysium Hotel. After the Elysium there is a footpath but it is very rocky and I ended up walking some of it. After that bit of path, it was road, passed the UKCA Club, down to Banana Bay and to Coral Bay.
It would be brilliant if the new path links the Elysium Hotel up to Banana Bay.

I do plan on walking it and doing a similar film to the one I did from Geroskipou to the Harbour, in the near future.

Too bloody hot at the moment though!

Walked it this morning. It starts if you walk through some waste ground, off of the road to Queens Bay (just up the hill from the new lights) It finishes with a Leptos fence, where they are developing next to the Atlantica, so you walk out onto the road between the Cythiana and the Sunset Breeze. There are other access points further down that road.

I reckon the UK Government would benefit from putting Giorgos Stylianou in charge of HS2 if he can come in that much under budget.

It sounds a bit tricky to try to walk it at present... a shame if Leptos block the pathway with their fence. They did something similar at Sea Caves.
