This is wrong. It measures oxygen saturation, not the amount of oxygen. This isn´t irrelevant because you can have normal saturation but still not enough oxygen supply to your tissues (e. g. if your´re anemic).

It seems that if you wear apple watches, the Pulse Oximeter is likely to be built into the 6th generation
