Did you ever watch Trial & Retribution ? Started in 1997 and ran through to 2009 ....44 episodes.

It’s free on YouTube just now , we have recently watched all episodes .

Try some of the foreign programmes from "Walter presents" through the All 4 on demand. They have subtitles in English but some very good series, otherwise Us series "The Wire" and "The Sopranos"

Two series we have found to be pretty good are Jack Taylor and Cardinal, Jack Taylor about an ex Irish policeman and the Cardinal is a Canadian Police series.

For several years now we have been watching:
Chicago Fire
Chicago PD
Chicago Med
There are about 20 episodes per series. We've enjoyed them.

We've also watched, and enjoyed:
Law & Order SVU
The Resident
Line of Duty
Boardwalk
Spiral (French thriller with sub titles)
Ray Donovan
Homeland
Blue Bloods (family cop drama with Tom Selleck)
Billions
Longmire (modern cowboy drama)

IMDb will give you all the information......

I have never seen Fauda in any list of best tv shows. I had it on my hard drive some time ago and kept passing over watching it thinking it might not be up to scratch. When the wife and I did start to watch it (at least a year ago) we were taken aback by its quality. This is an expensively made show and right out of the top drawer. We watched it with sub titles, dubbing seems to spoil things. It would be in my list of the top ten best ever tv series.

I hadnt realised that there was a series 3 . I will get on to it and thanks Meri2 for bringing it to my attention.

A few more that are very good. IMO

Black Sails
Absentia
Blind spot
Fortitude
Marco Polo
Narcos
Ray Donovan
Revolution
Ripper Street
Sons of Anarchy
The Man in the High Castle
Tyrant
Vikings
Watchmen
Westworld
World on Fire

You can get a synopsis of each series off IMDB. Black Sails is very good as is Marc Polo.
