Police will be on high alert in the coming days, especially on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, to prevent violations of the lockdown decree, said the chief of police Kypros Michaelides.Speaking to Alpha TV on Thursday, Michaelides said he has given instructions for ramped up checks, assuring that the force is fully prepared to face the challenges of the Easter period....

Let’s hope they also break up the numerous family gatherings which will no doubt still be held despite them being forbidden

You are right Sue in worrying about about that. Unfortunately, there are still people who don’t appear to understand or indeed care about the reasons why everyone needs to stick to social distancing, Any large gathering of people increases the risk of spreading this wretched virus.... which won’t go away over Easter!
