The Parcel24 service in the fight against the coronavirus
3/04/2020
To help you avoid visiting the Post Offices during working hours, Cyprus Post is throwing the 24-hour Parcel24 locker systems in the fight against Coronavirus.
From Monday, April 6, 2020, and as long as the restrictive measures are in force, a number of registered items (barcode "R") and parcels (barcode "C") containing goods, provided that they bear the recipient's mobile phone, will be placed in the Parcel24 systems, regardless if the recipient is a subscriber.

At the Old Post Office, near the market, its one at a time inside the room. Enter by the main door, exit by the side door.
Much quieter that the Anavargos P O.

Trev,
Not necessarily. Usually only if the parcel is from a country outside the EU and needs custom clearance.. Yesterday my parcel came from the UK, so I picked it up without problem at the old Post Office.

I have always had to collect from Anavargos where ever the Parcel has been from.. Even large ones from the UK and from Germany . But that is just fine it is easier parking, unless you need to be right on the doorstep

They have that style of parcel boxes in Estonia, outside the shopping malls, works really well. Don't think it is a subscription thing, you just specify where you want it delivered and they text you an unlock code.
I think the system here in Cyprus requires a subscription , about 18€ a year ...so not for me .

Yes you do have to pay in Cyprus. I believe they allowed not subscribers to use them in recent months, but that has been cancelled now
