It's fine for me - I understand how it works and managed to search and locate the HRT tablets I was prescribed each month whilst in Cyprus.
Personally speaking, I find it easier to have it as one large document rather than segregated in alphabetical chunks as it was on CL.

And because I ripped the code for it out of the back office system I wrote, it has sortable columns too!

Oooo. It's almost like being back at work. On reflection I think I'll stick with the charity shop!

I'd prefer to have it open in a new tab.

Pete,
If you right click on the text link to the Meds file, you should see the option to "Open in a new tab" then the default link setup won't take you away from the forum when you click on it....

It's actually considered bad practice to open a new window or tab on the click of a link. Some browsers will assume it is a popup and block it.
A few years ago I looked into it at some length, as I wanted terms and conditions to pop up when clicked on a checkout page. It turns out the official line is you should always leave it up to the user.

Are these Recommended Retail Prices for meds? Could you pay higher or lower in a pharmacy, or are the prices fixed throughout Cyprus?
Also, is there a difference in price charged by the pharmacy depending on whether you have a doctor's prescription or no prescription?

Kevin,
As far as I'm aware, for those medicines available to buy over the counter without a prescription - the pharmacy prices are fixed throughout the Republic of Cyprus and you pay the same price if you have a private doctors' prescription.
However, if you are in receipt of a Cyprus medical card and visit the equivalent of the NHS clinics either at the hospitals or the village visiting clinics you get your medication at the NHS prices (50c per prescription item).
I got my HRT tablets at 50c per packet from the village clinic or Limassol General but the price with a private prescription initially started at just over 25 EUR per packet of 30 tablets. Prices have gone down several times since then and they're now at around 18 EUR per packet to buy with a prescription at the pharmacies.

... so, the prices are only relevant if you don't work in Cyprus or are under UK state retirement age ... like me
Have I got that right?

Do you automatically get prescriptions if you work (and pay taxes) here?

With regards to the prices, I was led to believe that they were the MAXIMUM you could legally be charged, other than the RRP, which would presumably only be the recommended price.

The prices are relevant if you buy your meds over the counter or with a prescription from a private doctor. You only get the NHS equivalent low price meds at the hospital or local clinic pharmacies with one of their doctors prescriptions.
You have to be paying into the Social Insurance fund and earning below a set amount to qualify. Self-employed can also get a medical card as long as paying SI contributions and meet the criteria.
