I am neither for nor against royalty, let's say I'm indifferent. However, I did watch the Queen's spiel and I thought she did very well for a nonagenarian. The content of her speech was excellent under the circumstances; she must have a first-class speechwriter!

Very good speech.

Like all her (personal) speeches, written by her & an equerry, but then approved/amended by the PM if necessary, before being broadcast.

I thought HM’s speech was very good, I have previously heard that she’s pretty good at composing her speeches herself. After all she’s had years of experience and practice! Her first speech to the children of the Nation was done in wartime when she was 14yrs old.

All heads of state have a speech writer but the words probably won't change the world we live in but I for one respect that the Queen rather some of her subjects delivered it
