A web camera installed by the Forestry Department in a nest box is streaming newly hatched great tits.
The Forestry Department said the great tit is quite common in Cyprus. It reproduces quite often in forests, cities, parks and even home yards.
This nest is located in an urban park in Nicosia.
“We chose to use technology to stream the image to the public in order to encourage more and more people to place artificial nests and thus help our country’s birds,” it said.
