Not what you saw HIC, BUT we use the beach next to the airport and have seen this one landing , taking off a few times over the years.

I think the plane just went over us ,flight radar says it was an Antonov An-26b , but they are a twin engine version and the one hic snapped appears to be four engined ?

It came from Larnaca airport .

I too saw this one go over Lloyd and I think I heard it go out again later yesterday evening?

The aircraft was an Antonov AN-22. Flightradar24.com showed it as Ukrainian registered (where it was built) with the flight originating from Pristina (Kosovo). UN troop movement? As soon as I heard it, I knew it wasn't the usual Greek Airforce C130 or A400.

Looking at hics photo it does look like an AN-22 , twin tail ?
