A lovely day again here today in the UK, which was great as everywhere was busy with it being Mothering Sunday too. Some folks were in t-shirts and shorts - far braver than I ever will be in UK during March, I'm afraid!
But there's still a bit of snow above the Lake District across Morecambe Bay:
I got myself a brand new bicycle this afternoon, all ready for our summer jaunts. It's one of those Orla Kiely "Olive and Orange" design hybrid bikes. Best about it was we only went to "look and try for size"
Oh, and a bit of light aircraft spotting along Pilling Sands by The Esplanade at Knott End:

Another bright and sunny day with a promise of 15 degrees Celsius along the Fylde Coast. We must have done something really bad to deserve this clear and calm weather. No doubt it will get its own back on us in the next few days

That was yesterday, Sunday 26th March.
Today it is cloudy and the forecast for all of Cyprus all this week is cloudy and some rain.
Not quite summer yet!

Geoff not sure what the weather is doing at your end of Cyprus, here in Pafos and for most of the week looks reasonable, good temperatures too..spring has been here for sometime now.

Lovely photos but one request. Next time you take a picture of an aircraft can you zoom in to get the registration number. Don't want to risk arguing the type with Lloyd. Great bike. Where have they hidden the battery

Glorious here yesterday in Hereford, 17 degrees, T shirt and shorts, and a larger in the pub garden, roll on summer.

I was just looking on my Flickr to see if there were any photos which could be zoomed in on... We called at the jetty on the way out to go looking at bicycles so I only had my 18-55mm lens fixed to my camera.

It has very squared off wings.....
As for the bike - it's definitely all pedal power but the 700c wheels make all the difference. Took it out for a little ride around the village to a friends house today and it makes no sound at all when being ridden. It turned the heads of the road bike racers we get passing through too!
