Today, I had an appointment with my doctor at the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre. As I entered through the main door, I expected to see some precautions. Not even a spray bottle of hand disinfectant in sight. After a few minutes, I realised that everything was more or less normal. None of the staff wore face masks, except a cleaning lady who probably did normally, in any case. My guess is that about 20 percent of the patients wore face masks or any other visible protection. The only difference from normal was that the waiting room was much less crowded, possibly by about 50 percent.I did not shake hands with the doctor!
