Urgent Appeal

An urgent request to you all, friends of The Learning Refuge!
Caritas (our island-wide Charity which provides food and clothes and household goods for many refugee families) is receiving less donations since New Year, plus an increase in demand for our help.
We are struggling to provide basic food bags for some of our very needy families.
We have 15 families in great need. The Learning Refuge is going to try to prioritize this group of families, who for different reasons are undeservedly suffering.
Please can you give 1 bag of food. You can pack with: flour, rice, pasta, tinned fish or pulses, tinned tomato, lentils, all good cooking ingredients and non perishable foods of your choice (no pork meat)
Also if you are able, it would be kind to include: washing powder, shampoo, soap and other such useful goods of your choice.
