Not an engineer, a technician. An engineer is a university-trained, qualified, professional. A technician is a person employed to look after technical equipment and to carry out practical work.

There was a chap who repaired white goods, but the last i heard he had got ill. Does anybody know if he is better?

I contacted Mario's recently via text, he is on the mend hopefully, but as far as I am aware he is still recovering from his serious medical problem, I do wish him well.
