Exchanging UK driving license for Cypriot

I received my MEU1 at the end of November 2019. The agent told me I had to wait 4 months before I could exchange my UK license for a Cypriot one. Does anyone know if that is correct? Thank you.

To the best of my knowledge, if you've lived here for 6 months you can exchange your UK licence for a Cyprus one.

In respect of the link above, you CANNOT exchange a licence at the Citizens Centre, only at the Dept of Transport offices.
Also, it is not necessary to take your own photos, they take them electronically at the DoT office..
