Paphos Life

There will be a blog to follow, as it was quite a spectacle, but here's the video we filmed today:

I've been watching videos of it flowing along the dry riverbed of the Kouris river all the way down to the old Limassol to Paphos road and out by the Souni bridge turnoff near the DIY shop.

I captured photos of a similar incident from the Souni bridge back in April 2012 - the promises of the overflow were coming for several weeks and we drove up and down from our home several times to the dam but were lucky to be there when it eventually went. I also have footage from that pumping shack just off the riverbank from a few days earlier before it finally went over the top.

Great to see it again!
