I've no time for Piers, but equally have no time for the royals. Interestingly, neither Harry or Megan have any Royal blood anyway. She is a commoner from the USA, and he is the son of princess Di (who wasn't born a royal) and, allegedly, James Hewitt who was a commoner.

I’m certainly not a fan of him but this time I think his Twitter comments has a ring of truth.......

Is anybody surprised he has taken this course of action, especially after the appalling way his mother was treated by the royals and the establishment.

I am a Royalist but think , who really cares about this particular couple? I think that is a general shrinking of the core members of the dynasty and their public roles. After all, we now have the next three Monarchs in place and anyone on the perimeter of the family is superfluous.

Actually, we have 5 in the following direct line of succession:-
Charles, Prince of Wales
William, Duke of Cambridge
Prince George of Cambridge
Princess Charlotte of Cambridge
Prince Louis of Cambridge

As for the article. It shows huge disrespect, which is no surprise from Morgan. The Sussexes too have shown huge disrespect by not meeting to discuss this with HM Queen.

They did discuss it with the Queen. She told them not to publicise it until the Palace had worked out a course of action. However, they went ahead and announced it.

That's according to my wife, anyway.

Personally I couldn't care less what they do, as long as they don't have one penny from the tax payers' of the UK.

The Queen is the only member of the Royal Family I have any respect for, William and Kate have yet to stand the test of time. All the others are a complete waste of space as I see it.

I admit to being a republican at heart, but not solid. Don't mind the Queen, Charles, William and Anne.... the rest are parasites.

I think the monarchy, as a minimum, needs a complete overhaul. Anyone who uses the excuse of tourism - it's interesting that empty palaces get more visits than filled ones... Andrew has shown just how entitled they think they are.

Harry visited a Greek Island as hosts of Google, to give a barefoot talk on climate change and how we should all only take 1 flight per year and other shite. Gervais was right in his rant at Hollywood this week. These 'a-listers' are far too full of themselves and regard their opinions as more important than us 'ordinaries'. I'd include all the luvvies like Bono in this as well - lecturing Ireland about overseas aid and taxes! Hypocrites.

He is spot on. The Royal Family welcomed Meghan who turns out to be a narcissist. She needs to control. Good riddance to both of them. Harry is too weak to stand up for himself
