Every sunrise...

To paraphrase Arthur Smith:

Every sunrise, every sunset, every reflection, every view, every rainbow looks at fireworks and smiles indulgently.

Let's see where the New Year takes us all...

Maybe he simply starts with No. 1 in the new year.

Um, actually, they are just numbered that way because I picked five pics to upload and numbered them 1 to 5.

In fact, they are of varying vintage, selected to go with the accompanying text.

Pictures 1 and 3 are of the Archaeological Park. You will be hearing a lot about the Archaeological Park from us this year. We've done a 360 virtual tour containing over 3000 pictures, and a much more managaeble version one tenth the size. To accompany that there will be numerous films and blogs. These were a couple of pics I took for the blogs.
Picture 2 is of the Xeros Valley, on the way down from Ayios Ioannis, and used in the recent blog about the trip from Ayios Ioannis to Vretsia.
Picture 4 was taken from the blog about sunsets on the B7.
Picture 5 was taken over a year ago, and was part of the "Polemi Sunrise" blog.

The camera I use is a Nikon D5600. I have only scraped the surface of what that bad boy can do, so won't be upfrading any time soon.

However, we have bought a new 4K camcorder, so you can expect the quality of the films to improve a bit. You can see it in action in the last film posted. That was recorded after I had worked out where the record button was. So expect better when I find out how to use it properly. Fortunately, my man flu has meant I have time to read the online manual while I am in bed. Every cloud has a silver lining...
