Residents of Tsada as well as drivers on the Paphos-Polis Chrysochous road had the rare opportunity yesterday to experience hail, philenews reports.

The violent hail fall created a beautiful white scenery in the village albeit also causing some traffic issues.

People in the area were astounded by the phenomenon which also caused concern to local farmers who rushed to their crops to assess the situation.

One could also see on that picture that it is snow, not hail.... I know how snow looks as I lived long enough in South Bavaria in the far past...
