Superb service from UK passport office, filled in electronic application, returned old passport, and received new passport 3 weeks later..........however, would have received it sooner were it not for DHL, got text message to state it was out for delivery, later the same day got text message that due to customs clearance, it was now the following day ( customs clearance with parcel from Belfast?)

The passport had been in Cyprus for 3 days, shocking service from DHL

When my late husband had to renew his passport, DHL texted him to tell him of its arrival, and for him to go to their depot by the Law Courts to collect. So much for the paid for door to door service! When he arrived, the staff were busy so pushed a pile of packages from the Passport Office towards him and told him to select his! Not good security for such important documents. He complained to the Passport Office and was refunded the delivery fees. Shame there seems to be no way to make the Paphos agent for DHL actually deliver door to door except to central Paphos.

It is a little better now in that they have another office on Polis Road and parking is better there. But, of course, they still don't deliver.
