Do you mean that Hellenic Bank "being closed right now" they don't have a 24/7 emergency fraud team to report card loss/theft, possible phishers hacking your account, or (even worse) scumbags from Russia, China, Nigeria ét al having
hacked the Hellenic Bank IT systems?
If so, that is so incredibly naiive of them as to be totally unbelievable in this day and age of Cyber Crime...

Lots of hackers originate from the UK and USA too. Pretty much any country with access to the internet will have home grown hackers.

That is a very troubling and worrying response from people who should know better in this day and age...
I really do hope that you can get this situation resolved with your bank. Take his advice literally and report this incident to the Fuzz as a possible scam, fraud attack?
I cannot believe he was so blasé about it, tbh... Mr George deserves the sack, imho..

That's a relief to hear, phew! But from the lack of local reactions / input so far in this thread, it would seem to me that Hellenic Bank only have one customer in Cyprus, YOU?
Name and SHAME and publicise the Nicosia landline number openly for other PL members to watch out for and BLOCK, pls! It might not only be Hellenic clients who are affected...
