Our daughter’s got an apartment in Geriskipou for sale and finally got a cash buyer but it’s just come to light that the developer owed money to the above and because of this. The courts put a CCJ against her apartment unknown to her but now may lose her sale.

Does anybody know the above as this is the company who sued the builder?

I would speak to the lawyer. Our house was one of several that went was owned by a developer who went into liquidation. 17 million owing by the develper. We had memos against the developer on our property and the lawyer got them lifted. So that should be her first port of call.

Our daughters got her lawyer working on it later today as he is in court today. The company who built the apartment is still trading albeit a limited company, their response said the memo should not be in place as it is to do with their father! They are paying it back over a period.

The purchaser is wanting to complete ASAP and our daughter is very upset as she knew nothing about this. It is very upsetting and frustrating.

Fingers crossed with the help posted on this forum and her solicitors guidance all will be resolved soon.

We are still no further forward and the purchaser is getting quite anxious. The lawyer seems to be going round in circles..
Does anyone know a good solicitor who could help in getting the Memo removed and if anyone could help with getting the phone number of the builder as detailed above in the subject bar.
We are in the UK therefore finding it hard to get answers and the time difference doesn’t help.
